About CC Star
I've re-launched CCStar to feature my first love - enameling!
CC Star is all about celebrating what I love about enamel - rich, beautiful color, iridescence, and pattern. I'm inspired by all of the amazing color combinations I see out in the world.
For the past decade, I've been living in the Fruitvale district of Oakland, amongst rolling taquerias and Tibetan temples. I love the vibrant and family-oriented community in my neighborhood, and draw inspiration from it. I love the color turquoise, a mean margarita, a good bad movie, and traveling and seeing amazing cities. And most of all, I love my supportive and hilarious husband and our two adorable cats.
After studying costume design at UCLA, I moved to Oakland to study Jewelry/Metal Arts at California College of the Arts. After graduating at CCA, I worked for Mark Poulin Jewelry and started teaching Enameling at The Crucible in Oakland. I am now Production/Office Manager for Mark Poulin and Co-Head of Department in Enameling at The Crucible. I enjoy sharing my knowledge and learning from my colleagues and students.
